Lately, I’ve been creating social media stories for the hotel’s restaurant outlets, and the exciting part is that they actually go live.
What started as practice for the marketing team quickly turned into real, published stories promoting events, dinners, gift cards, and seasonal updates shared directly to the restaurants’ social channels. Seeing something I designed show up on my feed has been so motivating.
What I’ve loved most is watching how small design choices change the entire tone. A different font can make something feel playful or polished. A slight shift in spacing can suddenly make everything feel more intentional. I’ve spent 20 minutes moving one word back and forth to make sure it looks right.
Because these stories are for real restaurant outlets, I’ve been thinking carefully about voice and brand. Each space has its own personality, but everything still needs to feel cohesive under one hotel. Designing within those guidelines and seeing the content actually used has been one of the most valuable parts of this process.
This work has helped me build confidence, sharpen my eye, and better understand how people interact with content in real time. I am so incredibly excited to keep learning.
